Versa-Lam beams and headers are manufactured from a process in which high strength southern pine veneers are glued with the grain running parallel to form beam stock. This beam stock is then sawn to match BCI® Joist standard depths.
 
This product offers greater strength than conventional lumber and is easier to work with than steel, while offering greater design flexibility.
